REAL Coaching helps organizations quickly develop new visions, strategies, products, and structures that receive buy-in from the entire organization. Since 2004, REAL Coaching has employed its unique version of the collaborative session approach pioneered by The M.G. Taylor Corporation and Cap Gemini's Accelerated Solutions Environment. REAL Coaching is part of a small fraternity of skilled practitioners of this robust methodology that has been used for over 35 years by some of the largest corporations and governments in the world. Clients typically reduce months of work to three days or less using collaborative techniques and systems.Our work has produced rapid solutions for our clients in a myriad of areas, including:

HOW WE DO IT

OUR "IDEA" MODEL Facilitates Collaborative Solutions

REAL Coaching has developed a proprietary methodology for enabling organizations to rapidly “adapt” and thrive in a chaotic environment. This model is based on recent breakthrough research and understandings of living systems, complexity, and design thinking. We call this The IDEA Model and it consists of four primary factors:


  • Information: All participant in a system (organization) must have a clear perspective on relevant current data as a starting point for any adaptive change. We call this the "Current State," where we align and calibrate "Perceptions." 
  • Disturbance: Science teaches us that living systems do not change unless disturbed. Pushing a system to a chaotic state disrupts its paradigms and eliminates the barriers to imagining and creating new realities. We call this the "Chaos State," where we challenge assumptions and make hypothetical "Projections." 
  • Emergence: Bringing a system back to the "edge of chaos" and refocusing on reality allows participants to see clear solutions to their challenges. We call this the "Clarity State," where we discover solutions and write "Prescriptions."
  • Adaptation: Making the small immediate changes necessary to implement the emerging solutions. We call this the "Change State," where we create short-term action plans and corporate commitments to "Pro-Actions."
